One guest per line. "Rossi, Anna" stays one person. Lines like "Anna & family" are kept as one entry for you to review.

What the template holds

One row per guest, with columns for group, reply, plus-one, the plus-one's name and reply, dietary notes, table, thank-you sent and notes. Replies are picked from a list, so filters and counts stay tidy.

Fictional names. That list holds 5 places: 3 guests and 2 plus-ones.

Using it in Excel or Google Sheets

The Excel file opens as it is, with the header row frozen, filters on every column and a dropdown for replies. For Google Sheets, open Sheets, then File, Import, Upload, and choose the file. The CSV opens anywhere, including Numbers.

One row, or two, for a plus-one?

A plus-one lives on their host's row. That way the list counts the place once, whether or not you know their name. If they become a guest in their own right, move them to their own row and the place moves with them, so nobody is counted twice.

What the numbers mean

Entries like "The Okafor family" count as one until you split them, so the page says estimated until they are reviewed.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The templates, pasting, the counts and every download are free, with no account and no email.

Where do the names go?

Nowhere. The list is built in your browser, is not sent to us and is not saved when you close the page. The file you download is your copy.

Can I open it in Google Sheets?

Yes. Download the Excel file or the CSV, then in Google Sheets choose File, Import, Upload.

What goes into the app?

Copy names puts one guest per line on your clipboard, which is what Paste names in the Yes, I Do app reads. Only names go across. Replies, dietary notes and tables are added in the app.
